An Elkton man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Highland Lick Road Monday afternoon.
Todd County Deputy Patrick Turner said 22-year-old Matthew Allen of Russellville was eastbound on Highland Lick Road when he noticed a construction zone at Pleasant Hill Church, he attempted to stop and slid of the road hitting a cattle fence and rolling multiple times before stopping in a cow pasture.
Allen’s passenger 22-year-old Tyler Teague was ejected in the crash and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Neither of the men were reportedly wearing seatbelts.
