Members of the Christian County Board of Health were updated on several building renovation projects at the health department at Monday night’s meeting.

Director Kayla Bebout advised board members they were not approved for a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant that they applied for last year in order to make some major renovations to the building, including the front office and lobby. She noted she will be talking with the building committee and Ashley Johnson at the Pennyrile Area Development District in the future to see if they can resubmit the grant application.

Bebout said there are some essential renovations she feels they need to fund themselves and move forward.
