Country Concert Raising Money For Todd County Historical Project

An Elkton country music artist who recently signed to Big Catch Records in Nashville will be performing this weekend to support Historic Todd County.

Corey Farlow will perform at the Todd County Central High School auditorium. The show begins at 7:00 on Saturday night, tickets are $10 each for children six or older. Tickets can also be purchased here for $12 each.

Farlow has released several songs to country radio and was even named the 2016 Inspirational Country Music Association’s “Best New Artist of the Year” and he also received an award for his #1 song “Strong.” He is the nephew of George Morgan and a cousin to Lorrie Morgan, both well-known country music artists.

The proceeds raised from the show will go to help Historic Todd County to rehabilitate the second floor of the Historic 1835 Courthouse. All seating is first come, first serve with doors opening at 5:30 PM.

A few Elkton restaurants will be offering a discount to people who show their concert tickets when ordering Saturday afternoon. Dairy Queen will offer a 10% discount and Boondocks, El Torito, L&R Soda Shop, and Subway will all offer 20% off. The discounts will be valid from 3:00 to 7:00.
