Cadiz Man Charged With Vehicle Burglary In Clarksville

Clarksville Police say a Cadiz man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he was spotted looking into vehicles and then entered an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot of a crafts store on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Public Information Officer Jim Knoll reports 38-year old Michael Hunter was charged with vehicle burglary after officers responded to the parking lot of Hobby Lobby around 2:00 p.m. A couple of citizens reportedly saw Hunter looking inside vehicles and then enter an unlocked vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the owner of the vehicle who reported a pink cell phone charges cable was taken from the center console. Knoll says Hunter was found inside of Hobby Lobby and had the charging cable in his possession.

Hunter was booked into the Montgomery County Jail under a $15,000 bond.
