Flood Watch Issued For Tuesday And Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch from 6:00 Tuesday evening until 6:00 Wednesday evening for Caldwell, Calloway, Christian, Hopkins, Lyon, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties in western Kentucky.

Meteorologists say heavy rainfall of just under 2 inches to nearly 3 inches is forecast during that time period. The main concern is around the Land Between the Lakes area east toward Hopkinsville and up to around Greenville and Madisonville.

They add flooding can occur at any point during this rain event, so be on the lookout for flooded roadways.
