A Clarksville woman was charged with possession of drugs and carrying a concealed weapon after police found her in a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Saturday night.
According to a Hopkinsville police report, 35-year-old Amber Maddex was found in the backseat of a vehicle parked near a few closed businesses.
She reportedly told police she was waiting on her mother but appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.
Brass knuckles were found under a backpack after she moved the backpack, police then searched the vehicle allegedly found marijuana, a marijuana grinder and a pink purse containing a plastic baggie with a crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
She is charged with public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
