Todd County Chamber Hires New Executive Director

The Todd County Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director. The Chamber announced Anna Daniel, who served as an office manager in a dental practice for the past six years, has been hired to fill the position.

A release says Daniel was born and raised in Todd County and attended Todd County Schools. She is married to husband, Michael, and they have four children. While working in Clarksville for the past decade, she was involved in the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce and feels she can use that experience in her new role.

Daniel says she is passionate about the Todd County community and she wants to see the county grow. She notes that Chambers of Commerce provide individual businesses and communities an environment to work together in pursuit of common goals and objectives. Daniel says she wants to help bring everyone together in Todd County.

Since organizing in April of last year, the release says Glenn Slack – a member of the Chamber’s board of directors – has served as an interim executive director with the charge to get the organization up and running. Slack, who has a background in association management, has helped several non-profit organizations get through the initial stages. He will continue to serve on the board.

Daniel begins her duties Monday.
