Names Released In Friday Night Wreck In Crofton

Deputies have released the names of people involved in a wreck that severely  injured a teenager at the 6000 block of Old Madisonville Road Friday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Burgess told the News Edge at the scene one of the teenage passengers had a head injury and was flown to a hospital but he extent of his injuries was unknown.

The driver 17-year-old Trace Pound of Hopkinsville  and a second passenger 15-year-old Tyler Upton of Crofton  were not injured. 18-year-old Quey Breatford of Hopkinsville was flown to Skyline Medical Center.

According to a Christian County Sheriff’s Office report, the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, Pound and the front seat passenger Upton were wearing seat belts but the rear passenger Breatford was not.
