Hopkinsville Man Charged With Possession Of Meth After Traffic Stop

A Hopkinsville man was stopped for a traffic violation and reportedly found to have methamphetamine Friday afternoon.

According to a Hopkinsville police report, 29-year-old Jorge Morales was stopped after police say he failed to use his turn signal as he turned onto West 2nd Street from Grays Court.

Morales was reportedly found to have active warrants and a crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine in his jacket pocket.

He is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and failure to or improper signal.
