A Sharon Grove home was destroyed by fire Tuesday morning in Todd County.
Firefighters from the Sharon Grove and Allegre Fire Departments were dispatched to the fire shortly after 10:30. The home was located at 6709 Coal Creek Road. Firefighters say flames were coming out of the two-story home when they arrived on the scene.
Reports indicate the fire began in a bedroom and spread through the remainder of the home. The occupants of the home were able to escape without injuries.
Firefighters are still not sure what caused the blaze.
The American Red Cross was contacted to help the family of 5 including 2 adults and 3 children, according to Todd County Emergency Management.
