High absenteeism due to the flu and other illnesses has forced school officials at a private school in Christian County to close the doors for the remainder of the week.
Heritage Christian Academy spokeswoman Jennifer Blanchard says they will be closed for a few days, beginning Wednesday.

While students are away, she notes the school will be thoroughly cleaned.

Again, Heritage Christian Academy will be closed due to sickness Wednesday, January 30, through Monday, February 4.
