A woman has been charged in connection to a July 2018 wreck in Clarksville that claimed the life of a Fort Campbell soldier. Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says 77-year old Mary Lancaster was cited Tuesday with failure to yield resulting in death/injury.

Police initially reported the wreck occurred on July 16, 2018, shortly before noon when Lancaster, of Pembroke, was southbound in an SUV on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard when she attempted to make a left turn onto South Hampton Place and pulled into the path of a northbound motorcycle driven by 23-year old Austin McWhite. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
