Governor Matt Bevin says he is looking forward to running for a second term in office in 2019.
During a News Edge conversation Thursday, Governor Bevin said he is planning to run for another term and offers something different than potential Democratic candidates.

Bevin said people can choose to go back to the old way of doing things or continue with the way he is leading Kentucky.

The deadline to file for Governor and other statewide offices is Tuesday, January 29.Bevin will face Republicans Robert Goforth and William Woods in the May Primary. Minority Leader Rocky Adkins, Attorney General Andy Beshear and Geoff Young will square off in the Democratic Primary in May.
