Hopkinsville police helped a woman deliver a baby at the intersection at South Campbell Street and East 9th Street Monday night.
Officer Lori Kryszewski says she and Officer Nina Wright responded following a call from the Christian County ECC.
Police said they were notified about the woman heading to the hospital in labor and found the vehicle in a parking lot at the intersection and Officers Lori Kryszewski and Nina Wright helped the woman deliver a healthy baby boy.
The woman and child were taken to the hospital by ambulance but according to police the child and mother were doing great.
