Man Reports Identity Theft

A Hopkinsville man reported his identity was used to open a banking account and credit account without his permission Wednesday.
According to a Christian County  Sheriff’s Department report, 67-year-old Carlos Calhoun told deputies someone opened a bank and a credit card account in his name without permission.
Multiple accounts were opened and he was alerted of the accounts when he received letters in the mail about them and checks for a new banking account, according to the report.
