One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on KY 139, the South Road, in Trigg County Friday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Clark tells the News Edge they responded to the wreck about one mile south of Cadiz at 11:15 where a pickup truck driven by 20-year old Taylor Gray of Cadiz was traveling northbound and ran off the right shoulder of the road. He says the truck went down an embankment and hit several trees.
Deputy Clark says Taylor was wearing her seatbelt and the airbags deployed. Taylor reportedly complained of possible head and neck injuries and was taken by a private vehicle to the emergency room at Trigg County Hospital.
Cadiz Police, Trigg County Rescue, and Trigg County Ambulance assisted the sheriff’s department on the scene.
