Two New Trigg School Board Members Sworn In

Charlene Sheehan and Clara-Beth Hyde

The newest Trigg County School Board members were sworn in on Thursday morning.

Jeanette Hoover, Secretary to Superintendent administered the oath for Clara-Beth Hyde and Charlene Sheehan.

Hyde tells the News Edge it is important for a school board member to have a vested interest in what is going on in the district.

Hyde is the owner of Barkley Plantation in Cadiz and taught students at Trigg County High School for ten years. She adds there are some changes that need to be made in the district.

Sheehan feels she also has a special viewpoint as to what goes on within the district.

Hyde and Sheehan are both excited to hit the ground running during their first school board meeting Thursday evening, January 10 at 6:00 in the Trigg County Board of Education Conference Room.
