Man Charged With Theft From Employer

A Hopkinsville man was served a warrant charging him with theft from his employer.

According to the arrest warrant, sometime between September 20 and November 12 while employed by Heritage Bay Development, 22-year old Kaylob Meeks took tools and supplies valued over $5,500. Meeks reportedly admitted the theft to his employer as well as having confirmed it on a jail phone call that he “borrowed” the property.

Meeks was charged with Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 but Under $10,000. He was already lodged in the Christian County Jail on unrelated charges.
