Man Charged With DUI After Princeton Wreck Sunday

A Princeton man was charged with DUI after a rear-end collision injured a 43-year old woman Sunday afternoon. The crash occurred shortly before 12:45 p.m. in the 800 block of West Main Street in Princeton.

Police Chief Chris King reports Lisa Moor of Princeton was stopped in traffic and her vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 30-year old James Mahan. Officers say Mahan failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. Moor was transported by ambulance to the emergency room at Caldwell County Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Mahan was charged with DUI and possessing marijuana and an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
