The Hopkinsville Police Department took time over the last few weeks to spread holiday cheer.
Public Information Officer Mike Atkins says an anonymous donor gave the department money to be distributed to citizens doing the right thing.
He adds they made 15 traffic stops and handed out $1,500.Atkins thanks everyone in the community who donated to their Christmas Morning Miracle program.
According to Atkins, they delivered presents to over 150 families on Christmas Day.
