One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Glass Avenue and North Drive in Hopkinsville Wednesday afternoon.
According to the accident report, 21-year old Stacia West was traveling eastbound on Glass Avenue and turning left onto North Drive shortly before 1:00 p.m. when she failed to stop or yield and pulled into the path of a westbound car driven by 32-year old Jacoby Johnson of Hopkinsville. Police say the impact pushed West’s vehicle off the road into a ditch.
West was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Police say Johnson refused medical treatment.
Both vehicles suffered disabling damages and had to be towed from the scene.
