The Angel Tree program in Trigg County will be able to help more children this Christmas season thanks to the inaugural Jingle Bell Jog that took place Saturday morning.
Event organizer Casey Parrent tells the News Edge they had a great turnout for the event.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King thanks everyone who pitched in to make the morning a success.
Trigg County Angel Tree Coordinator Nancy Moore says the $1,700 check presented to her Monday morning will help around 17 children.
Moore adds the organization helps make a better Christmas for children.
Moore thanks everyone in the community for helping with the program and says there are still ways you can help. One of which is by picking up an angel off Christmas trees located at all Cadiz banks.
