One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident on the Pennyrile Parkway Thursday evening.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reports 55-year old Scott Plock of Crofton was driving in the right lane traveling north near the 9-mile marker when he came across 72-year old Glistine Jones of Hopkinsville also traveling in the right lane driving slowly. When Plock went to pass the vehicle Jones also veered into the left lane and struck the front of his vehicle. Jones’ vehicle spun around and was facing south in the left travel lane. 54-year old Gene Cotton of Hopkinsville was reportedly traveling in the left lane and was unable to avoid hitting Jones’ vehicle, with both vehicles coming to rest with their front bumpers touching.
Jones was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
