Hopkinsville Middle School was recently named a 2018-2019 National School of Distinction by the National Beta organization.
According to a release from Christian County Public Schools, the school has 105 members and received a banner to display on campus.
The National Beta School of Distinction award honors Beta Chapters striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership, service to others while honoring those schools showing an increase in membership.
The chapter will be recognized at the Kentucky Junior Beta Convention in Lexington and the National Beta Convention in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
