An Illinois woman was injured following an accident on Interstate 24 Sunday morning.
According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, 56-year old Ann Barnum of Collinsville, Illinois was traveling westbound on the roadway near the 93-mile marker behind a vehicle driven by 58-year old Kirstia Luetkemeyer of Freeburg, Illinois. A third vehicle that was not involved in the accident swerved in front of Luetkemeyer’s vehicle, which caused her to apply her brake and Barnum struck her vehicle.
A passenger in Barnum’s vehicle, 87-year old Betty Martz of O’Fallon, Illinois was transported by ambulance to Tennova in Clarksville for treatment of minor injuries.
