First Baptist Church in Hopkinsville will be hosting their fourth annual Feed the 5,000 event Sunday afternoon.
Church Pastor Dr. Tim Jernigan says this ministry has made a big impact on families.
There will be two services held before food will be given out.
Jernigan adds each family will receive basic items to cook a Thanksgiving meal.
Jernigan asks anyone wishing to attend one of the services and receive a box of food to call the church office at (270) 886-1216 by Friday afternoon.
