A Louisville Metro Police officer has been selected by President Donald Trump to serve as the U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Kentucky.
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a release Lieutenant Gary Burman brings to this role nearly four decades of law enforcement experience, including in multiple leadership positions. He added Lt. Burman clearly has the qualifications and preparation needed to excel. He congratulated and thanked Lt. Burman for his willingness to continue his public service on behalf of Kentucky and the nation. McConnell said he looks forward to the Senate confirming his nomination.
