Hundreds of people lined parking lots at Trigg County Public Schools and along Main Street to honor Veterans during the annual parade held Friday morning.
During the program held after the over two-mile parade route, Grand Marshal Reverend Dr. Jerry Bacon says he has no regrets of his time spent in the military.
Bacon left everyone in attendance with two things.
Bacon enlisted in the Army in 1975 and served two tours in Germany and was stationed in Fort Knox.
Cadiz United Methodist Church, the SALTY VETS organization, the Cadiz Lions Club, and Sid McGraw and Family won best float awards and received $100.
