A Hopkins County man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Hopkinsville Road in Nortonville Wednesday night.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation revealed 72-year old Kenneth Dalton of Nortonville was driving a pickup truck south shortly after 6:35 p.m. when he crossed over into the northbound lane and hit a car driven by 28-year old Cody Morgan of Madisonville. Dalton was pronounced dead on the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner and Morgan was uninjured and refused medical treatment.
Authorities say the crash occurred during a period of torrential rain.
