Man Charged With Armed Robbery At Hopkinsville Home

Police say a Hopkinsville man was arrested in connection to an armed robbery in which shots were fired at the victims Tuesday night. The robbery occurred at 8:45 Tuesday night at a home in the 1700 block of East 1st Street Extension.

According to Hopkinsville Police, 40-year old Kesler Willingham and two other unknown suspects entered the home and held the victim and small child at gunpoint in the kitchen while they ransacked through the home looking for money. The victim was able to flee with his 5-year old child and the suspects reportedly fired five rounds at them. Willingham was found at a manufacturer on Commerce Court and taken into custody at 3:30 Wednesday morning. He was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with first-degree robbery.
