Because of the threat of severe weather on Wednesday, Hopkinsville Halloween activities have been moved to Tuesday, October 30.

Christian County Emergency Management, after consultation with the National Weather Service and city and county officials, recommends all Christian County residents to reschedule their Halloween events for Tuesday. They also recommend that local neighborhoods plan to follow suit by celebrating Halloween and trick-or-treating on Tuesday.

And in addition, the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department has moved the Downtown Hopkinsville Trick or Treat event to Tuesday. Downtown trick or treating is from 3:30 until 5:30 on Main Street between 6th Street and 13th Street.

Crofton, Elkton, Guthrie, Lafayette, Trenton, Pembroke, and Princeton have also announced all Halloween activities will be moved to Tuesday night.
