Police say numerous tips led to the identity of a Hopkinsville woman who drove her vehicle through the doors of a car dealership in Clarksville on October 13 and caused in excess of $20,000. According to police spokesman Jim Knoll, Pauleeta Torian-Dunn turned herself into the Clarksville Police Department around noon Tuesday.

The release says an investigation determined that Torian-Dunn was slumped over the driver’s seat of her car for about a half hour and then drove her vehicle forward hitting the building’s glass doors and continued until she hit a Kia Stinger inside the showroom. She was inside the dealership for about 10 minutes before she left the scene. Knoll says the vehicle was found in Hopkinsville parked in a driveway and had damage consistent with the crash on the video surveillance footage. Torian-Dunn reportedly admitted she was the driver of the car that crashed into the building and left the scene. Police also determined she was driving on a revoked license.

Torian-Dunn was lodged in the Montgomery County Jail charged with Leaving the Scene of the Accident, Vandalism, Aggravated Criminal Trespass and Driving on a Revoked License. Her bond is set at $50,000.
