Police have identified the two men who were flown and the three men taken by ambulance to a hospital when a truck crashed through a work area and hit two work lifts and a patrol car in Clarksville Friday morning. Clarksville Police Public Information Officer Jim Knoll says the crash occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of College Street and Riverside Drive.

According to Knoll, 31-year old Justin Clark was driving a bucket truck south on Riverside Drive through the work zone when, for an unknown reason, he collided with a patrol car and then hit two work lifts occupied by 43-year old Robert Bartz, 59-year old Charles King II, 26-year old Charles King III, and 41-year old Gerald Buck.

Knoll says Bartz and Buck were flown from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where Buck was treated and released and Bartz remains in critical condition. Charles King II, Charles King III, and Clark were all taken by ambulance to Tennova where they were treated and released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash and at this time Knoll says no charges have been filed.
