Suspects In Madisonville Home Invasion Sought

Madisonville Police are investigating a home invasion and robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded to 156 North Seminary Street at 3:45 p.m. where the victims, 19-year old Estaban Roldan Gomez Alvaro and 20-year old Yoni Avedamar Roldan Lucas, stated they asleep when they were awakened by a white female rummaging through their belongings in their bedroom. Police say the victims struggled with the woman over a wallet when the woman beat on the window and two black males broke down the front door of the apartment. The suspects reportedly grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, a cell phone and then fled the apartment in an unknown direction.

Police say the female is described as being around 30 years old with shoulder length hair, barefoot, and carrying ladies white pump shoes in her hand. One black male is described as being about 6 feet tall, heavy build, a medium length afro, beard and mustache, and wearing a black or dark colored plaid shirt at the time of the robbery. The second black male was also approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build.

Police say one of the victims was assaulted during the encounter but refused medical treatment.

Madisonville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying those responsible for this crime. Tips can be called into the Crime Stoppers of Hopkins County Tip Line at (270) 825-1111. Any tips that lead to their arrest will be eligible for a cash reward.
