The Christian County Military Affairs Committee will host the annual Freedom Friday Chili Cook-off Friday afternoon.
Director of Military Affairs at the Christian County Chamber of Commerce Lindsay Geraci says around 24 chili cook-off teams will start cooking early Friday morning, with activities starting in the afternoon.
According to Geraci, the chili will be finished early Friday evening.
Chili cook-off teams have the chance to win up to $1,000. The cook-off will take place at Founders Square in downtown Hopkinsville.
