The Cadiz chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is taking entries through the end of the month for two essay contests. Carl Johnson says students could win scholarship money for participating in the contests.
Johnson adds students can pick up information for the contests at the Trigg County Middle and High School guidance offices.
According to Johnson, they are always looking for new members for VFW.
VFW is also looking for people to join their auxiliary to provide support for members.
