One of the major events during the annual Trigg County Ham Festival is the car, truck and motorcycle show. This year, it is the 25th annual show and it is again sponsored by the Cadiz Baptist Church Men’s Brotherhood.
Larry Kemp, a member of the Brotherhood, says the funds they raise are used to build a church.

The church that is constructed is a very simple building, but Kemp says the cost to build a church has increased over the years.

Even though the majority of the funds raised are set aside to build a church, Kemp says some funds are always available to assist a local youth organization.

The car, truck and motorcycle show is held on Saturday of Ham Festival in the Cadiz Baptist Church parking lot. Kemp says they will accept almost any show vehicle.

In addition to the car show, the Brotherhood also sponsors the Bob Broadbent Memorial Silent Auction. Kemp says there is a variety of items for sale at the auction.

Registration for the show begins at 7:30 Saturday morning. The show will run from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM and there are a number of prizes presented. Cost of entering your vehicle is $20 dollars.
