Trigg Man Wanted On Warrant Facing More Charges

A Cadiz man wanted on arrest warrants is facing additional charges after he fled from a deputy Friday afternoon.

According to the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office, 23-year old Preston Hightower was found at a home in the 5900 block of Adams Mill Road where he knocked out a window screen and then fled out the window and ran into a wooded area. Hightower was apprehended and during a search for weapons, deputies reportedly found marijuana and three Loritabs in a small plastic baggie.

Hightower was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with fleeing or evading police on foot, possession of opiates and marijuana. He was also served the arrest warrants for probation violation for a felony offense.
