A Hopkinsville woman has been charged with assault after she allegedly hit her son in the head with a broomstick.
According to an arrest warrant, 45-year old Tammy Blake hit her 17-year old son in the head on October 3, causing a laceration on his forehead between his eyes. The grandmother, who has temporary custody of the juvenile, filed the complaint on his behalf.
Blake was booked into the Christian County Jail charged with second-degree domestic violence assault.
