Man Charged With Assaulting Hopkinsville Woman Holding Infant

An Indiana man is facing assault and wanton endangerment charges after being served two warrants from two incidents that occurred last month in Christian County.

On September 8, according to the warrant, a female victim stated that 26-year old Blake Butler endangered the welfare of their infant son by grabbing him from her arms and throwing the infant on the couch. Bulter then allegedly assaulted the mother of his child by punching her in the face and choking her, causing physical injuries including a broken nose.

On September 22, a second arrest warrant states that Butler posted a live video on Facebook where he angrily yells that he is not concerned about the victim filing an emergency protection order and then made verbal threats toward the victim’s family.

Butler is lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with Retaliating Against Participant in a Legal Process, 1st Degree Assault – Domestic Violence, and 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment.
