Hopkinsville Woman Hurt In Rear-End Crash On Bypass

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Eagle Way Bypass Wednesday afternoon.

Police say 60-year old Willie Haskins of Hopkinsville was driving east on Eagle Way when she missed her turn onto Keeton Drive and she changed lanes. Haskins stated to officers she slowed down, signaled she was turning and then stopped to make the turn at which time her vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

Hopkinsville Police say Haskins was transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, 29-year old Justin Wright of Murray was not hurt in the wreck.

Police report Haskins was cited to court for failing to produce an insurance card.
