Kentucky State Police have released the name of a man fatally shot on State Line Road in Todd County Sunday afternoon.
According to a release, officers were called out to a suspicious vehicle around 4:40 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found 49-year old Jerry Robertson of Guthrie unresponsive in the passenger’s seat. The Todd County Coroner was called to the scene and pronounced Roberston dead.
Reports from the scene indicate witnesses saw a dark-colored pickup truck with several people inside at the time of the shooting.
Kentucky State Police is continuing to investigate the shooting. State Police were assisted on scene by the Todd County Sheriff’s Department, Todd County EMS, Todd County Coroner, Allensville Fire Department, Todd County Rescue, and the Todd County Chaplain Service.
