Two Indicted By Grand Jury In Separate Assaults

The Christian County Grand Jury returned indictments for assault, wanton endangerment and stalking on Friday.

Joshua Hull

Joshua Wayne Hull was indicted for third-degree assault of a police officer, fourth-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and other charges after police say he assaulted a woman on June 12 at a Walnut Street apartment and held her against her will. When officers arrived at the scene, Hull allegedly made verbal threats toward officers, resisted arrest and assaulted an officer.

Jonathan Roper

The grand jury indicted Jonathan Roper for second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and other offenses.

Bradley Shelton

Bradley Lane Shelton was indicted for first-degree stalking and violation of an EPO after police say he repeatedly knocked on the door of the female victim’s residence while armed with binoculars and a camera. Police reported Shelton had previously been served with a protective order issued to protect to the female victim.
