HCC To Offer New Courses In The Coming Year

HCC President Alissa Young
Hopkinsville Community College (HCC) is looking to the future as they consider new programs to offer at the college.
During the regular meeting of the HCC Board of Directors, President Dr. Alissa Young shared with members about a new diesel technology course they hope to offer soon.

Young adds they hope to add more courses for the healthcare field next year.

HCC continues to strengthen partnerships across the community. During a groundbreaking Tuesday morning, it was announced HCC will continue a partnership with the Habit for Humanity organization to build houses in Hopkinsville.

Board members also heard enrollment numbers for both campuses of HCC. Enrollment is up 9.2% at the main campus, and down 4.8% at the Fort Campbell campus. Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Jason Warren hopes numbers will go up as they continue to offer new courses at the school.
