Chief Sumner Named Kentucky City Employee Of The Year

The Kentucky League of Cities has named Hopkinsville Police Chief Clayton Sumner the City Employee of the Year.

According to a release, Sumner was given the award during the annual awards luncheon Tuesday. The award is designed to recognize outstanding Kentucky city employees and celebrate their achievements.

Along with the award, Chief Sumner received $1,000 to go to the charity of his choice. Sumner will give the money to the Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County.
