Hundreds of people will pack The Bruce Thursday night for the 17th annual Taste of the Pennyrile, which showcases bite-sized samples from dozens of food vendors from across the region.
Pennyroyal Hospice Executive Director Kelly Martin says the Taste of the Pennyrile is their second largest fundraising event and brings in over 1,000 people each year. He adds the fundraising events are important in order for Pennyroyal Hospice to continue providing free end of life care.

According to Martin, there will be 31 vendors at this year’s event and they will have a little bit of everything for everybody. In addition to the great food, they will also have raffle items and door prizes.

He notes the Taste of the Pennyrile is a great time and great atmosphere.

He adds tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

The Taste of the Pennyrile will be from 5:00 until 7:30 Thursday evening at The Bruce, located at 303 Conference Center Drive in Hopkinsville.
