A traffic stop in Hopkinsville last week netted the arrest of two Clarksville men after detectives say they found multiple guns inside the vehicle.
The Hopkinsville-Christian County Violent Crimes Strike Force stopped the vehicle in the 1100 block of Central Avenue on Friday and made contact with 29-year old Alexander Byrd and 41-year old Juan Davilamercado, who police say are alleged members of the Sin City Disciples motorcycle group. During the stop, detectives say they saw the buttstock of a shotgun on the back seat of the vehicle. After a further investigation, detectives reportedly found two handguns, a .22 caliber UZI and a stolen double-barreled shotgun inside of the vehicle.
Both men were lodged in the Christian County Jail facing multiple gun charges.
