John Soyars Sworn In As County Attorney

The Assistant County Attorney in Christian County is officially the County Attorney. John Soyars was sworn in Tuesday morning after he was appointed to the County Attorney seat by Judge-Executive Steve Tribble. The appointment comes after County Attorney Mike Foster announced he was stepping down at the end of August after serving in the position for over four decades.

Soyars has served as the Assistant County Attorney for over two decades and says he’s very humbled and honored that Foster asked him to fulfill his term and that he was appointed by Judge Tribble.
