A Hopkinsville man is behind bars facing charges after police say he threatened officers and caused more than $1,000 worth of damage to a police cruiser.

Hopkinsville Police responded to a call at 110 Windsor Drive just before 9:45 Monday morning regarding Zachary Holloway with a knife. Officers found Holloway in the 100 block of Koffman Drive where he was detained and placed in the back of the police cruiser and started kicking the window, causing the damages. Holloway also allegedly threatened several officers on the scene by stating he would cause serious physical injury once he got out of jail.

Holloway was lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with first-degree criminal mischief, third-degree terroristic threatening, and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Holloway was also served a warrant out of Caldwell County for fraudulent use of a credit card under $500 within a six month period. According to the warrant, the Princeton Police Department reported Holloway used a stolen credit/debit card at the Planters Bank ATM to withdraw $300 without the knowledge or consent of the victim. Police say surveillance video captured Holloway using the card.
