Clarksville Police Name New Deputy Chief And Three District Commanders

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan and Clarksville Police Chief Al Ansley promoted four officers to key leadership positions last Thursday.

According to a release, Captain David Crockarell was promoted to Deputy Chief over Law Enforcement Operations.

Lieutenant Liane Wilson was promoted to Captain and will be Commander of District 2. Wilson is also the first woman promoted to Captain in the Clarksville Police Department.

Sergeant Beau Skinner was promoted to Lieutenant. Skinner will be assigned to District 2.

Detective Raymon Carroll was promoted to Sergeant and will be assigned to District 1 on the night shift.

Also announced last week, several new District Commander assignments, effective Monday, Captain Scott Thornton is new Commander of District 1; Captain James Smith is new Commander of District 3; Captain Ty Burdine is Commander of the Professional Integrity Unit, and Captain Richard Stalder is Commander of Special Operations.
